Ski lessons in the Pyrenees

Ski and snowboard lessons for all ages and abilities !

Are you a beginner looking to learn to ski or snowboard, build confidence and enjoy the mountains? Or an experienced skier wanting to refine your technique and take it further?

The price of a ski lesson varies depending on the resort, the ski school, the type of lesson (private or group), the season, as well as the age and ability level of the skier.

You can find all prices by resort by selecting your chosen ski resort in the Pyrenees above.

Ski lessons are available for alpine skiing, telemark, snowboarding, ski touring, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. There are also snow gardens for young children to discover the snow and have fun (while giving adults a chance to enjoy the slopes).

Depending on the ski school, awards may have different names. Don’t worry — everything is clearly explained when you book your lessons.

For example, the École de Ski Français (ESF) offers different levels and awards:

  • The Piou-Piou Club, with stages such as Blanchot, Sifflote and Garolou
  • For children aged 4 and over: Ourson, Flocon, Première Étoile, Deuxième Étoile and Troisième Étoile
  • For more advanced skiers: Étoile de Bronze, Étoile d’Argent and Étoile d’Or

Don’t forget to book your ski pass in addition to your ski lessons.

N'PY has created the Beginner Pass (Flex Card) specifically for beginners, making things easier for ski instructors too. If you expect to progress quickly and plan to ski regularly throughout the season, you can opt for the No Souci Card.

When choosing your pass, don’t forget insurance just in case.

Yes, it is highly recommended to bring a small snack for your ski lesson. Every effort deserves a reward!

Absolutely. All ski schools offer lessons for advanced and expert skiers looking to improve their technique. In La Mongie, guided freeride experiences are also available, including the chance to ski the spectacular descent of the Pic du Midi.
