Picnics are not allowed, for the comfort of all visitors.

Pets are not allowed on the cable car or at the summit of Pic du Midi, for hygiene and safety reasons.

Firstly, animals may cause allergy issues for some visitors (hair, saliva, etc.).

Secondly, the cable car and the summit are potentially hazardous environments for animals. Cabins can be confined and crowded, which may be stressful or unsafe. At the summit, cliffs, steep slopes and other natural hazards could also pose risks. The presence of animals could also affect the safety of visitors and staff due to unpredictable behaviour.

Pet boarding service available: animal care service available.

Assistance dogs are welcome.

Due to its layout and mountain location, Pic du Midi aims to be as accessible as possible to all visitors, including people with disabilities.

Most areas are accessible to wheelchair users, except for the bedrooms (accessible only by stairs).

  • Reduced-price e-tickets
  • Drop-off area & reserved parking
  • Full access to most areas without assistance
  • Adapted lift
  • Wheelchair available if needed
  • Seating available in visitor areas
