Welcome to the RUSSELL barn winter/summer
In a former 18th-century sheepfold, completely renovated in the Pyrenean spirit, and equipped with quality facilities, situated at an altitude of 1000 meters at the entrance to the village of CAUTERETS (the "the best snow-covered ski resort in the world") in the heart of the Pyrenees National Park, the Russell barn offers 170 m2 of living space for 10 people, divided into :
RDC :
-1 entrance with ski rack and large storage cupboard,
-1 vast living room of around 70 m2 grouping together 1 large TV lounge, living room, fully equipped open kitchen (gas hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, pyrolysis oven, microwave oven, filter coffee maker, kettle, toaster, raclette appliances), dining area (large Bigourdane table),
-1 separate WC,
-1 laundry room with cumulus (300 liters), washing machine (13kg) and dryer.
FLOOR 1:
-1 master suite with closet, furnished in 160x200 bed with shower and sink,
-1 single bedroom furnished in 140x200, with closet and alcove (1 90x190 bed)
-1 single bedroom with closet furnished in 140x200 and toilet area,
-1 bathroom with bathtub and WC.
FLOOR 2 (attic, access by ladder):
-1 large mezzanine family room furnished with 1 double bed 140x200 on one side and 2 single beds 80x200 on the other.
All in resolutely modern comfort that sacrifices nothing to tradition and mountain style: wood, wood, wood...
On a 300m2 garden with terrace and outbuildings (storage for your bikes); the Grange Russel is located on the edge of the coulée verte, well known to our hiker and mountain biker friends.
Toilet linen and bed linen are your responsibility; optionally they can be provided.
Of course, free internet; pellet stove (included in the price of the stay at the rate of 1 bag per day). Heating by inertia radiators on the ground floor; electricity is billed at €0.3/kWh.
There's ample parking; access to the village and the cable car is either by car (2 min.) or by free shuttle bus (stop 50 meters away), or on foot via the coulée verte in about 10 min.
