Situated at the foot of the Pic du Midi, 6 kilometers from the ski resort of La Mongie, the gîte auberge welcomes you in summer and winter in a cocooning atmosphere. We're also at the start of some great hiking trails, on the Lacs du Néouvielle and GR10C circuits.We have 23 beds, divided into 5 rooms for 2 to 5 people, all with en-suite bathroom and toilet, and a 6-place dormitory.

The ground floor features a bar with a fireplace where you can enjoy a hot drink with a few sweets, or an aperitif accompanied by a nice plank of local charcuterie/cheese. We also have a dining room. We offer a dinner based on local and organic produce (Label HaPy Saveurs), served at a communal table at 7:30pm and cooked by Gilles.

The terrace opens onto a pretty garden planted with trees, where in summer you can enjoy lunch or a drink while looking out over our beautiful Pyrenees. From 12:00 to 14:00, we serve plates prepared with local produce. All day long, we serve hot and cold drinks, picnics and snacks.

For those who want to discover the mountains, we are at the start of hiking trails leading to the Pic du Midi, the Payolle lake, or the Gréziolles lake, the Chiroulet for all levels. We also offer rental of GIANT electric-assist mountain bikes and snowshoes.

For cycling enthusiasts, you'll find 3 mythical Tour de France passes on your route, the Col d'Aspin, the Hourquette d'Ancizans, the Col du Tourmalet.

In winter, the La Mongie resort is 6 kilometers away. Here you'll find winter activities such as skiing, snowmobiling, dog sledding and snowshoeing, as well as restaurants.

After a great day out, you can relax at the fun thermal baths in Bagnères de Bigorre, or stroll through the streets of this beautiful spa town. You'll also find a wonderful market here on Saturday mornings.
